Shortly after Israel began its ground invasion of Gaza, Anne Barnard, a New York Times reporter who has covered wars for over a decade, stood in the emergency room of the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City and watched a 9-year-old girl die.
The girl was alone, without family, nameless. And when the doctor finally pronounced her dead, Barnard and another reporter wept.
And then she tweeted:

Irregardless, Internet Marketing is still Marketing. It is still a strategy, a marketing strategy that like any other marketing strategies, must have a clearly defined goal or set of goals that needs to be achieved.

Thus, it must be clearly understood that it is still in essence, MARKETING (but using the Internet as a tool)

MAKING THE CONFERENCE CALLS LESS CRINGE-WORTHY

Sitting on the line listening to your colleagues platitudes while you play Words With Friends is a terrible way to spend everybody's time. But there is hope, so long as we clean up our conference call hygiene.
1. Do the homework. Make sure everyone's read the materials beforehand.
2. Email an agenda beforehand. Like oDesk blogger Erica Benton says, they help everyone mentally prepare.
3. Keep everybody's info in one place. If you need to reach someone via gchat or landline, make sure you've got it collected beforehand, says business coach Dave Navarro.
